eFRAME > Ponta de Sao Lourenco in a beautuful spot on the Portugese island of Madeira in the Atlantic. On the morning of this photo, we got there early to scout the best locations high up on the hills. The weather was really windy but the sky was promising. Little did we know that the heavens were about to explode - the high winds brought a huge thunderstorm as you can see with the dark clouds in the photo. So, not only did we have to contend with the wind, but it was lashing down with rain as well. You can imagine us, in the dark, trying to steady the tripod for 30 second exposures whilst trying to keep the rain off the lens! What fun we had :-) But we must have done something good to someone that day, because look at the sun! It was an awe inspiring sight, and one I won't ever forget. Sharing is encouraged.
